McIntosh To Transfer

AMES, Iowa ? Iowa State junior guard Corey McIntosh will transfer at the end of the Spring semester, ISU head men's basketball coach Greg McDermott announced today.
"Corey informed me yesterday of his intentions to pursue his basketball career at another school," McDermott said. "We thank Corey for his efforts and wish him nothing but the best in the future."
McIntosh, a native of West Covina, Calif., played one season for ISU after transferring from Fullerton Community College. He averaged 4.4 points and 2.5 assists while starting 29 games this past year.
"I enjoyed my time at Iowa State," McIntosh said. "It was great playing in Hilton Coliseum, but I want to play my last year closer to home."
