AMES, Iowa-Iowa State (14-15, 3-11 Big 12) plays its final home game of the season, playing host to Missouri (21-8, 9-5 Big 12) in Hilton Coliseum Tuesday night. The Cyclones have two seniors on their roster in Marquis Gilstrap and Jamie Vanderbeken. Gilstrap, who has a possibility of returning next season under the medical hardship rule, will be honored in a ceremony before the game.

Cyclone Notebook
- Iowa State (14-15, 3-11 Big 12) plays its final home game of the season, playing host to Missouri (21-8, 9-5 Big 12) in Hilton Coliseum Tuesday night.
- The Cyclones have two seniors on their roster in Marquis Gilstrap and Jamie Vanderbeken...Gilstrap, who has a possibility of returning next season under the medical hardship rule, will be honored in a ceremony before the game.
- Vanderbeken is listed as a senior as well, but only played in 10 games before numerous injuries forced him to shut it down for the rest of the season...Vanderbeken will be granted a medical redshirt and will be back next season.
- ISU has won eight of its last 11 Senior Day games, including last season's 78-76 win over Texas Tech when senior and current ISU graduate assistant Bryan Petersen recorded career highs in points (20) and 3-pointers (6).
- Craig Brackins needs nine points to become the sixth player in ISU history to record 1,500 points and 700 rebounds in a career (Zaid Abdul-Aziz, Jeff Grayer, Victor Alexander, Fred Hoiberg, Marcus Fizer)...only two (Abdul-Aziz; Fizer) did it in three seasons.
Last Time Out
- Iowa State lost in the final seconds vs. Colorado on Saturday, as Diante Garrett's 3-pointer was off the mark in the Cyclones' 75-72 loss to the Buffs in Boulder.
- The loss was ISU's eighth in the last nine games in Boulder.
- ISU won the battle of the boards, 37-21 and committed a season-low seven turnovers in the game...it was the fourth time the Cyclones had less than 10 turnovers in a game this season.
- However, CU was outstanding in other areas to break open the deadlock of 10th-place Big 12 teams.
- CU made 55.1 percent of its shots from the floor, the highest an ISU opponent has recorded this season, and was perfect from the free-throw line (12-12 FT).
- Meanwhile, the Cyclones continued to have problems at the charity stripe, making just 12-of-21 shots (57.1 percent) from the foul line.
- ISU had no answer for Cory Higgins, who poured in 33 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the floor...Higgins is the fourth Big 12 player to record 30 or more points vs. the Cyclones this season (Tommy Mason-Griffin (OU), 38; Denis Clemente (KSU), 30; Obi Muonelo (OSU), 31).
- ISU has now outrebounded six of its last 10 Big 12 opponents.
- The Cyclones were led by Marquis Gilstrap, who netted a career-high 26 points on 10-of-16 shots from the floor...Gilstrap also buried 2-of-3 shots from 3-point range, making a trey in 15 of his last 16 games.
- Craig Brackins added 13 points and nine rebounds in the loss...Brackins become just the 10th player in school history to record 700 boards in a career, ranking ninth all-time on ISU's rebounding chart with 708.
- Brackins also had two blocks to give him 37 on the season, tying for 13th on ISU's single season blocked shots chart.
- Justin Hamilton scored 11 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting from the floor...Hamilton is making 62.4 percent of his shots from the field this season, a total that would rank fourth in school history if the season ended today.
- LaRon Dendy came off the bench to tally nine points and career-high-tying nine rebounds.
