AMES, Iowa - Iowa State (14-11, 1-9) travels to No. 21/17 Texas A&M (19-5, 6-4) on Wednesday to face its second of four-straight ranked opponents. ISU has played four-straight ranked opponents just two other times in school history (1994-95; 2002-03). Freshman Calvin Godfrey will return from a three-game suspension against the Aggies. He missed the last three games after violating team rules.

- Senior Jamie Vanderbeken sprained his left ankle in the Kansas game and missed the entire second half...he is listed as doubtful against Texas A&M.
- If Vanderbeken is unable to go, ISU will have just seven scholarship players available.
- Junior Scott Christopherson has made a 3-pointer in 27 consecutive games, tying the school record with Mike Taylor, who made a 3-pointer in 27-straight games in the 2006-07 season...one 3-pointer by Christopherson against the Aggies would set a new Cyclone standard for consecutive games with a 3-pointer.

- Iowa State lost for the seventh time in a row on Saturday, falling at No. 2 Kansas, 89-66.
- A 23-4 Kansas run in the first half put the game out of reach...the Cyclones were down 33-12 after KU's run with 6:28 left in the first half...Iowa State virtually played even with the second-ranked Jayhawks for the final 26 minutes of the game.
- Iowa State played without Calvin Godfrey, who was sitting out the final game of a three-game suspension.
- Iowa State was down to just six scholarship players in the final 27 minutes of the game when Jamie Vanderbeken went down with a sprained ankle...Vanderbeken had seven points in 10 minutes of action before leaving the game.

- Garrett now has 1,253 points in his career, tying for 19th with Gary Thompson (1955-57) on Iowa State's all-time scoring list.
- Anderson, who started in his 100th game of his career, had 12 points and led the Cyclones with five assists...it was Anderson's fifth game on the season with five or more dimes and his 18th game this year with 10 or more points.
- Vanderbeken now has 59 3-pointers on the season, tying for 14th on Iowa State's single-season 3-pointers made list with head coach Fred Hoiberg (59; 1993-94).
- Iowa State had 19 assists to 13 turnovers, the 19th time this season where the Cyclones had equal or more assists than turnovers.
