Cyclones Tied For Fourth At Sun Trust Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Iowa State rallied with a second-round 294 at the Sun Trust Women's Invitational this afternoon, as the Cyclones currently sit in a tie for fourth after two rounds. The Cyclones were in 10th place after carding a 302 in the first round, but shaved off eight strokes in the second round for a two-round 596 total. Host Florida is in first place at 572.
Junior Kristin Paulson is currently tied for 15h place at 146 (73-73) to pace the Cyclones. A trio of Cyclones (Prima Thammaraks, Punpaka Phuntumabamrung, Laurence Herman) are all tied for 28th with a two-round total of 151.
The Cyclones will be back on the links tomorrow morning for the final 18 holes of the tournament.
