CyCast: J.D. Waggoner

AMES, Iowa – Redshirt senior J.D. Waggoner will be a huge part of Iowa State's defense in 2017.

A native of Dallas, Texas, Waggoner has seven career starts at defensive end. He was having a fantastic 2016 campaign until a shoulder injury in the Baylor game sidelined him for the rest of the season.

Waggoner recently changed his jersey number to No. 58 to honor former assistant coach Curtis Bray, who passed away suddenly in 2014.
