Cheer Squad to Host Stunt Clinic

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State Cheerleading Squads will be hosting two Fall College Stunt Clinics taking place on Saturday, Oct. 7 (Co Ed) and Saturday, Oct. 21 (All Girl).  The Co Ed stunt clinic will be from 10 a.m - 12 p.m., and the All Girl stunt clinic will be from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. Both clinics will be held at the Bergstrom Indoor Football Facility.
These clinics are offered to anyone currently in eighth grade through college that is interested in learning how to stunt at the collegiate level of cheerleading. The Co Ed stunt clinic will focus on single and double based Co Ed stunting, and the All Girl clinic will focus on four person group stunting. Participants will receive instruction from the current Iowa State Cheerleaders and coaches. Cost for registration is $30 per person for each clinic and registrations will be accepted through the day of the clinics. Participants will also need to provide the completed Participation Agreement and a copy of a current athletic physical completed within the last year. These items will be turned in upon arrival at check-in for each clinic. Anyone that participates in both clinics will not need to turn in this paperwork for the All Girl clinic on October 21st.
