Iowa State Cross Country Schedule Set For 2018

AMES, Iowa – The 2018 Iowa State Men's and Women's Cross Country schedule is set. The 2018 slate is highlighted with the Cyclones hosting the Big 12 Championship in Ames on Oct. 26.
The season begins next month in Iowa City. Both teams will compete at the Hawkeye Invitational on Friday, Aug. 31.
ISU will make two trips to Wisconsin during the regular season, which is the host site of the 2018 NCAA Championships. They'll travel to the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Sept. 28 and then the Pre-Nationals on Oct. 13.
Both the men and women will look to defend their 2017 Big 12 titles, as the conference championship is set to be run at the ISU Cross Country Course on Oct. 26.
Along with their 2017 Big 12 Championships, the Cyclones also earned a pair of titles at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships last season. ISU's chance at back-to-back regional crowns will be in Peoria, Ill. on Nov. 9.
The year culminates with a third trip to Madison on Nov. 17 for the 2018 NCAA Championships.
