1. What's your favorite thing about being a student at Iowa State?
Definitely the people here. It's a small town compared to where I'm from and Midwest people are so nice and polite. Strangers say hi and smile.
2. What's your favorite thing about being a gymnast at Iowa State?
The team, hands down. We are so close and we always have so much fun together.
3. Why did you choose Iowa State?
It seemed like the perfect place for me.
4. When did you begin participating in gymnastics?
I started classes when I was three, but my mom swears I've done it since birth.

Jody...she's always doing something ridiculous.

I love track. Especially hurdles.

8. Tell us something the average person wouldn't know about you...
I was born in Agana, Guam, on a Navy base.

Cooking meals for my teammates.

I teach everyone how to “walk it out” haha.
13. What is your favorite part about competing in Hilton Coliseum?
The fans. They are so great.
14. What is the most fun you've had on an ISU gymnastics road trip?
Cancun. We lied on the beach for six hours and got so burnt. But it was January and we knew there wasn't going to be any sun to come back to.
15. What's the best advice you've ever been given?
TeShawne wrote on my beam assignment one day, “Would you rather play it safe and be good? Or take a chance and be great?” It really inspired me.

We spontaneously burst into song. It's amazing.
20. How would you describe this team?
Fun-loving, close knit, and dedicated.
