AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State women's golf team will be traveling south to Tucson, Ariz. to compete in the Mountain View Collegiate Tournament Mar. 28-29. Each team will play 54 holes at the par-72, 6,263 yard Mountain View golf course, playing 36 holes on Saturday and finishing up with 18 on Sunday.

This year's tournament field includes 19 teams, including three top-25 squads, No. 19 San Jose State, No. 20 Louisville and No. 24 Arizona. Iowa State will face six opponents from the Big 12 conference as Colorado, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas Tech make the trek to Arizona. The Cyclones currently have a 4-8 record against those six conference foes this season.
Iowa State is coming off their best finish of the year, as they placed fifth at the Baylor Spring Invitational Mar. 16-18. Junior Pennapa Pulsawath led the way for the Cyclones with a third-place finish, while sophomore Victoria Stefansen received a tie for sixth. It was also Pulsawath's seventh top-10 finish as a Cyclone.
Along with Stefansen and Pulsawath, Iowa State will bring along Rachel Reed, Kristin Paulson and Laurence Herman.
