MILAN, Italy- The Iowa State men's basketball team arrived in Milan at around 9 AM Italian time this morning. The Cyclones quickly took a tour of the city after the 9-hour flight, seeing many of the historic landmarks of the city.
The Iowa State contingent visited the ancient Duomo cathedral on the tour. The impressive cathedral was built in 1386. The Cyclones will stay in Milan until August 14 when they travel to Florence.
Tomorrow is a big day for the Cyclones. The team will visit beautiful Lake Como in the morning and then play its first game in the evening against Oleggio Basket at 2 p.m. CST in Milan. Iowa State is still working out its schedule of games for the rest of the week.
