Volleyball Hosts NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

AMES, Iowa – The Cyclone volleyball team invites fans to join the Cyclones at Johnny's at Hilton Coliseum on Sunday, Nov. 25, beginning at 2:45 p.m. CST, to watch the 2012 NCAA Tournament Selection Show on ESPNU. The selection show is slated for 3 p.m. Fans may enter Hilton through the Southeast doors and can park in the lots south of Center Drive.
The Cyclones hosted Miami (Fla.), UM-Milwaukee and Northern Illinois in the first and second rounds of the 2011 NCAA Tournament, defeating Milwaukee and Miami (Fla.) to advance to the Minneapolis, Minn. Regional.
At Minnesota, Iowa State earned the program's second Regional Final berth with a 3-1 win over the Gophers. Florida State stopped the Cyclones' drive to their first-ever Final Four, taking a five-set win in the Elite Eight.
The Cyclones are on the road on Wednesday at West Virginia (8-20, 0-14 Big 12) in their final road match of the regular season, at 5:30 p.m. CST.
On Saturday, Iowa State hosts No. 3 Texas (23-3, 15-0 Big 12) on Senior Night, honoring seniors Rachel Hockaday, Alison Landwehr, Taylor Knuth and Jamie Straube. The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. CST.
