AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team wraps up the first half of its Big 12 schedule Saturday with a match at Baylor, starting at 7 p.m. inside the Ferrell Center.

Cyclone Headlines
- The Iowa State volleyball team reaches the halfway point of the Big 12 season Saturday with a match at Baylor starting at 7 p.m.
- Iowa State returned to its winning ways on Wednesday with a dramatic five-set victory over Kansas at Hilton Coliseum. KU took the first 25-18, before ISU grabbed back-to-back set wins at 25-16 and 25-17. Kansas forced a fifth with a 25-21 fourth-set win. The Cyclones led the fifth early, but gave away its lead, but re-took the lead at 9-8 and never looked back en route to a 15-12 win.
- Caitlin Nolan led Iowa State with a school-record and Big 12 record tying 43 digs on the night. Nolan had two sets with at least 10 digs, recording 11 in the first and 13 in the third.
- Nolan has continued ISU's tradition of great liberos, ranking atop the Big 12 with 5.62 digs per set. The junior from Southlake, Texas is a two-time Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week so far in 2014. She has posted at least 20 digs in each of her last six matches.
- Ciara Capezio led the ISU offense with 16 kills. Capezio looks to have gotten back into form, as her previous match saw her record 21 kills in four sets of action at Texas Tech. The sophomore leads ISU with 3.27 kills per set while also recording 2.04 digs per frame.
- After a slow start to her 2014 season Mackenzie Bigbee, a 2013 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American has been one of ISU's top players in recent weeks, recording 2.72 kills per set at a .272 hitting percentage across the past six matches. Bigbee has had at least 10 kills in four straight matches.
- Alexis Conaway, a true freshman middle blocker, has been one of ISU's top offensive threats in recent weeks. She has recorded at least 10 kills in seven of her last 12 matches, and ranks ninth in the Big 12 with her .325 hitting percentage.
- Three of ISU's seven losses have come to the top-three teams in NCAA RPI in No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Florida State and No. 3 Texas. This week, Iowa State checked into the NCAA RPI at No. 26.
