Cyclones Earn Letter Jackets At Ceremony

AMES, Iowa – Once a Cyclone, always a Cyclone.
The Iowa State Letterwinners Club honored spring sport student-athletes and managers by awarding them an "I" and the accompanying Cardinal and Gold letter jacket last night.
The ceremony took place at the Alumni Center, where student-athletes and managers were welcomed into the Letterwinners Club.
"It's an exciting accomplishment to represent Iowa State University," Cyclone wrestler Austin Anderson said. "Being a letter winner is something I will always remember."
Student-athletes and managers in men's basketball, women's golf, men's track and field, wrestling, women's basketball, gymnastics, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and women's track and field were presented their jackets by Letterwinners Club president Dan Culhane and their respective coaches.
"To be able to present letter jackets in this type of setting where our student-athletes are among their peers is really special," said Lindsey Long, Director of Special Events and Letterwinners Club at Iowa State.
