AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team takes on its second top-10 opponent in four days on Saturday when the Cyclones head to Austin to take on No. 4 Texas. First serve will be at 7 p.m. inside Gregory Gymnasium.
Tickets are on sale now through the University of Texas (click here), and can be bought on the night of the match at Gregory Gymnasium. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance to avoid long lines, and in case the match sells out, which it has in the past.
Saturday's match will be televised on the Longhorn Network. Subscribers to LHN can also watch the match on the WatchESPN app. For more info about watching Saturday's match, click here.
The University of Texas will also provide live stats, here.
Iowa State fell to No. 6 Kansas on Wednesday night inside Hilton Coliseum in four sets. ISU was able to take the first set off of Kansas before dropping the next three. ISU will be looking to do better at converting early leads into victories, as five of ISU's seven losses this season have come in spite of the Cyclones winning the first set.
The challenge will be great in Austin, as the Cyclones have never defeated the Longhorns inside Gregory Gymnasium. UT sits atop the Big 12 with thier 12-2 overall record and 4-0 Big 12 mark. Texas' only losses in 2016 have come to defending national champions and current No. 3 Nebraska and the current No. 2 team in the country, Wisconsin. The Horns rely on their pin hitters for offense, with four-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week Micaya White leading the way with her 4.51 kills per set.
