-Iowa State (13-13, 5-10 Big 12) returns home to face Kansas State (17-9, 7-8 Big 12) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum. Iowa State is looking for its second sweep of the season, after defeating Kansas State on Dec. 30 and opening conference play with an 84-79 win. Iowa State is 37-48 all-time against the Wildcats and 21-16 in Hilton Coliseum.
- Seanna Johnson is tied for 19th in the nation in double-doubles this season with 13 and second among Big 12 players. Johnson's 26 career double-doubles ranks fifth in school history. She is three double-doubles away from tying Stephannie Smith with 29 in her career. Johnson (774) is also just 22 away from tying Hallie Christofferson (796) for eighth all-time in school history.
- Johnson reached 1,000 career points against Oklahoma. She currently ranks 24th in school history with 1,107 and is just 51 away from tying Colleen Peterson (1,158) for 21st in school history.
- Jadda Buckley is averaging 5.9 assists per game, which ranks third in the Big 12 and 17th in the nation. Her 153 assists on the season ranks 20th in the nation.
- Johnson currently ranks second in the Big 12 with 16.5 points per game. She is third in rebounding (9.2) and is 10th in assists, averaging 3.2 per game. She also ranks second in Big 12 conference games averaging 16.2 points per game.

- Carleton has been named Big 12 Freshman of the Week five times, which ties Johnson and Megan Taylor for the most in school history.
- The 2015-16 season marks the 21st in the tenure of Bill Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 447-219 record at Iowa State and a 613-272 record in his 27-year career as a head coach. His 613 career wins lists him in the top-20 in the NCAA among active coaches.
