Registration Open for Cyclone Volleyball Camps

AMES, Iowa - The month of June is upon us, which means it is time to look forward to the Cyclone Volleyball Camps. Spots are still open, but limited, in all individual camps beginning on June 13 and running through the month of July.

The Cyclones will host two All Skills camps. Cardinal Camp will take place June 21-23 and Gold Camp is scheduled for July 25-27. Both camps are identical in content and will be divided into individual drills and team competition. These camps are for grades 8 and above.

Setters and liberos will have their own camps, set for July 12-14. Setter camp is on July 12-13 and focuses on hand position and footwork. Libero camp will take place July 13-14 and focus on passing and defense in an effort to improve back row skills. These camps are open for grades 5 and up and campers can sign up for both at a discounted rate.

Iowa State will also have its Junior Cyclone Camp on June 13-16. An introductory camp for students in grades 1-8 which takes place in the evenings, Junior Cyclone Camp focuses on teamwork and individual volleyball skills.
