No. 17 Iowa State Set For Hawkeye Invite

AMES, Iowa – The No. 17 Iowa State women's cross country team kicks off its 2019 campaign at the annual Hawkeye Invitational on Friday, Sept. 6, in Iowa City.
The 4,000-meter women's race is set to begin at 6 p.m. from Ashton Cross Country Course, located near Finkbine Golf Course. Along with the Cyclones and hosts, Iowa, Drake, Illinois State, Northern Iowa and Stephens-College-Columbia will all be in attendance on Friday evening.
The Hawkeye Invitational marks the beginning of Iowa State's title defense of the Big 12 and NCAA Midwest Regional. The Cyclones will also be looking to make their 11th-straight NCAA Championships appearance in 2019.
