MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin - Miska Kadleckova and Chie Kezuka advanced to the finals in doubles play at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic.
Kadleckova and Kezuka built off of their day one momentum by defeating Julia Andreach from Notre Dame and Teodora Ristic from Mercer with a score of 6-4. Their next matchup would also prove to be no problem for the Iowa State duo as they would quickly finish Butler's Norah Balthazor and Natalie Boesing with a score of 6-1 to advance to the doubles championship.
Singles play would prove to be tougher for both Kezuka and Kadleckova.
After a strong performance in the opening day, Kadleckova struggled to get anything going in her day two matchup. The junior from Banksa Bystrica, Slovakia would face off against Madison Sieg from USC and eventually lose the match with scores of 6-0, 6-0.
In the consolation draw, Kezuka would go head to head with Sally Pethybridge from Portland and advance to the next round with scores of 6-3, 6-2. The next matchup would prove to be difficult for the senior from Fujisawa, Japan, as she would fall to Teodora Ristic from Mercer with a score of 5-7, 3-6.
