Wigginton Makes Canada’s U19 Team

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State incoming freshman Lindell Wigginton has been named to the 12-player Canadian U19 team that will represent the country at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2017 in Cairo, Egypt from July 1-9.
Canada will face Japan, Spain and Mali in the group phase of the tournament, tipping-off against Mali on July 1st at 8:30 a.m. (CST).
Wigginton and his teammates continue to train in Mississauga, Ontario until June 20 and then travel to France for exhibition play on its way to Egypt.
