AMES, Iowa - Iowa State head men's basketball coach Wayne Morgan announced today the addition of two walk-ons to the Iowa State basketball team. Mark Boll, a 6-5 forward from Syracuse, N.Y., and Jonnell Marion, a 5-9 guard from West Des Moines, have joined the Iowa State men's basketball practice squad for the 2003-04 season.

Was second-team all-league as a senior, averaging 16.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game...played in the New York State Fair All-Star Game...as a junior, averaged 15.8 points, 9.6 rebounds...earned MVP at the Elmira Christmas Tournament...was born in Des Moines and lived in Urbandale until moving to Syracuse when he was a freshman...son of Tom and Jeanette Boll...born May 8, 1984.
Jonnell Marion, 5-9, 150, Fr., West Des Moines, Iowa (Valley)
A third-team all-state and 1st-team all-CIML pick in 2003...made the Southwest Iowa Select Team...averaged 14.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a senior...as a junior, averaged 16.1 points and 2.3 rebounds while earning first-team all-CIML honors...son of Del and Karen Marion and Sherri Marion...born April 23, 1985.
