AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State women's golf team will compete in its third tournament of the spring season, traveling to the Baylor Spring Invitational Mar. 16-17. The Cyclones will tee off against 13 teams at Twin Rivers Golf Club in Waco, Texas. Hosted by Baylor, Twin Rivers boasts a par-72, 6,347-yard layout. All competitors will play 36 holes on Monday, and finish up with 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Cyclones will compete against nine teams they have not faced this year, in addition to Baylor, Colorado State, SMU, Missouri State and Iowa. Iowa State heads to Texas looking to improve after its 12th-place finish at the Central District Invitational Feb. 16-17.
Sophomore Victoria Stefansen continues her impressive play, as she garnered Big 12 Golfer-of-the-Month honors for the second time this year. Stefansen tied for 33rd at the Puerto Rico Classic and 22nd at the Central District Invitational, as she received recognition for her play in February.
Also making the trip to Texas next week are Pennapa Pulsawath, Laurence Herman, Kristin Paulson and Rachel Reed.
