AMES, Iowa - Four years and over 1,600 career points later an All-America career came to a close in March as Kelsey Bolte and her teammates advanced to a fifth-straight NCAA tournament appearance before bowing out in the first round.
A quiet leader for much of her career, Bolte became the face of the Cyclones during her senior campaign. She was a unanimous first-team All-Big 12 selection, while also earning All-America honors from the Associated Press and Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
While her numbers and accomplishments on the court speak for themselves, her personality and charisma off the court likely played an equal role in making her a fan favorite.
The Ida Grove, Iowa native sat down with cyclones.com after the season to reflect on her career. It is a career that will be remembered by Cyclone fans for years to come. Click the "play" link in the photo above or visit the embedded media player below to watch the video feature.
