AMES, Iowa- Iowa State senior goalkeeper
Maddie Jobe has been named to the Primetime Performers list by CollegeSoccer360.com.
The Iowa State senior goalkeeper was one of the main reasons the Cyclones walked away Friday evening with a victory over the Baylor Bears as she made save after save to keep the Iowa State goal safe. In the 24th minute Jobe had a standout moment where a Baylor forward broke free from the Cyclone defenders and had a one-on-one opportunity against Jobe to score on the Cyclones. Jobe didn't disappoint registering her sixth shutout of the season and Iowa State record 20th shutout of her career giving Iowa State its second conference victory of the season.
In addition, Baylor fired an incredible 12 corner kicks at the Cyclones, the second-most by a Big 12 team this season. Jobe has turned in one of the best seasons in the Big 12 conference this year, leading the Big 12 with 82 saves.
Jobe becomes the first Cyclone to be named to the Primetime Perfomers list by CollegeSoccer360.com. She also earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors earlier this week.
