-Iowa State (16-7, 6-4), tied for fourth in the Big 12 standings, travels to Texas (10-13, 2-8) on Wednesday, as UT welcomes the return of preseason All-Big 12 selection Myck Kabongo.
-Iowa State won the first meeting between the two schools in Ames earlier this season (82-62), but the Cyclones are just 1-9 all-time in games played in Austin, losing four-straight. ISU's lone win at the Erwin Center was on Feb. 5, 2005 (92-80 ot).
-Iowa State currently owns a 20-game homecourt winning streak, the fourth-best string in school history and the fifth-best active streak in the NCAA. ISU is the only Big 12 school with a perfect homecourt record (13-0).
-Iowa State leads the Big 12 and ranks sixth nationally in 3-pointers per game (9.3), connecting on 10 or more treys 12 times this season and 39 times in the Fred Hoiberg era. ISU has made 10 or more treys in four of the last five games, averaging 10.2 3FG pg in that span.
