Softball Alumni Weekend Set for Sept. 26-28

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State softball program, in association with the Iowa State Letterwinners Club, would like to extend a welcome back to its alumni for a weekend of events and festivities Sept. 26-28 in Ames.
The weekend will begin with an Alumni Social at Olde Main Brewery at 316 Main Street in Ames on Friday, Sept. 26 from 6-8 p.m.
Saturday will start at the Cyclone Sports Complex, as alumni will be invited to attend an open practice of the current Cyclone softball squad starting at 8:15 a.m. Later in the day, the Iowa State Letterwinners Club has set aside a block of tickets for softball alumni to purchase and sit together at Iowa State's football game against Baylor at Jack Trice Stadium. The start time of the football game has yet to be announced.
Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Cyclone Sports Complex, alumni will be invited to participate in an Alumni Game against the current Iowa State student-athletes.
