- Iowa State looks for its fourth consecutive win as it starts a daunting stretch of three-straight opponents ranked in the top-10...the Cyclones have won three of the last four meetings against KU...ISU is coming off a 13-point road win at TCU, giving it back-to-back conference road wins by double-digits for the first time since 2006.
- Monday's game is part of the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers week...this year, coaches will also be wearing specially-designed “Princess Lacey's Laces,” remembering Lacey Holsworth and the need to continue raising funds for pediatric cancer.
- ISU has won 20 games against ranked opponents in the last three seasons, tied with Kansas for the most nationally in that time...ISU has 21 total losses in that span...six of ISU's final 12 games are against currently ranked teams.

- Monté Morris is averaging 19.4 points in the last five games...Morris has hit 62.7 percent of his FG attempts and 8-of-14 threes in that stretch...he continues to be a rock for the Cyclones, sitting second in the Big 12 in assists (6.8) and steals (2.1), and leading in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.5)...Morris is shooting 52.9 percent on 3-point attempts in Big 12 play.
- Jameel McKay is averaging just under a double-double with 13.2 points and 9.3 rebounds...he is third in the Big 12 in rebounding and has 17 and 19-rebound performances this season...McKay has five double-doubles this season.

- Deonte Burton, who captured back-to-back Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors after becoming eligible, was in double figures for the fifth time in 10 games, scoring 10 points at TCU...Burton is shooting 52.5 percent from the field.

- ISU has been to a school-record four consecutive NCAA Tournaments.
- The Cyclones have won back-to-back Big 12 Tournament titles, just the fourth school to win consecutive titles.
- ISU has bettered its preseason Big 12 prediction four consecutive seasons...ISU was picked third in this season's preseason poll.
- The Cyclones have won at least 11 league games in each of the last four seasons, which is a school record.
- ISU has won 34 regular season home games in a row against nonconference opponents...the Cyclones have won 31 of their last 33 games at home, including 17 of 19 league games...only Baylor has beat the Cyclones at home during this stretch.

- Morris led four Cyclones in double figures with 18 points...Morris was 7-for-11 from the field despite missing his first two shots...Thomas (15), Niang (11) and Burton (10) were also in double figures for ISU...McKay had 10 boards and three blocks for the Cyclones.

Series Notes vs. Kansas...
- Kansas leads the all-time series against Iowa State at 177-62 as the team's meet for the 240th time...the Jayhawks lead 69-38, including 23-21 at Hilton Coliseum.
