AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State track and field squads head to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Razorback Invitational on Friday and Saturday. A team-scoring competition, the meet at the Randal Tyson Track Center will feature some of the best teams in the country. The Cyclones will compete against fellow Big 12 schools Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas, some of the SECs top squads in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M and other national powers such as Florida State and Oregon.
Events will begin on Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. Friday events will be live streamed on SEC Network+,
here, beginning at 5 p.m. and through the conclusion of Friday running events around 8:30 p.m. Saturday action will be shown live on SEC Network, beginning at 12:30 p.m. through the conclusion of meet, around 4:30 p.m. Saturday's events can also be watched via WatchESPN,

The Cyclones are traveling a full team contingent to Fayetteville, with the majority of the team's starts in action. On the men's side,
Taylor Sanderson will make his season debut in the heptathlon against a stacked field that includes two-time defending NCAA Outdoor decathlon champion Maicel Uibo of Georgia. Sanderson is ISU's school record holder in indoor heptathlon and a 2015 All-American in the outdoor decathlon.
As for the Cyclone women, they will also be sending plenty of its stars on the track this weekend. Many of the ISU women's distance runners will be doubling up on events, with
Evelyne Guay and
Jasmine Staebler doing the 800-meter run and mile and
Erin Hooker and
Perez Rotich doing the mile and the 3,000-meter run. Two-time national champion shot putter
Christina Hillman is back in action, and a week after entering the world top-20 in the indoor 60-meter dash, freshman
Kate Hall will be focusing on the long jump.
