-Iowa State (12-12, 4-9 Big 12) returns to Hilton Coliseum to take on Texas Tech (11-13, 2-11 Big 12) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Iowa State is 15-12 all-time against the Lady Raiders and 10-1 all-time in Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones look to avoid the season sweep as TTU downed ISU 69-66 in overtime in Lubbock on Jan. 17.
- Seanna Johnson is tied for 16th in the nation in double-doubles this season with 13 and second among Big 12 players. Johnson's 26 career double-doubles ranks fifth in school history. She is three double-doubles away from tying Stephannie Smith with 29 in her career. Johnson (765) is also just 31 away from tying Hallie Christofferson (796) for eighth all-time in school history.
- Johnson reached 1,000 career points against Oklahoma. She currently ranks 25th in school history with 1,085 and is just nine points away from tying Megan Ronhovde (1,093) for 24th in school history.
- Jadda Buckley is averaging 5.8 assists per game, which ranks third in the Big 12 and 20th in the nation. Her 140 assists on the season ranks 22nd in the nation.
- Johnson currently ranks second in the Big 12 with 16.9 points per game. She is third in rebounding (9.6) and is 10th in assists, averaging 3.4 per game. She also ranks second in Big 12 conference games averaging 17.0 points per game.
- Iowa State's starting lineup is tied for the fifth-youngest starting lineup among power five teams. Iowa State is tied with Kansas for the youngest starting lineup in the Big 12. The Cyclones are the only Big 12 team to start two freshmen.
- Senior Kidd Blaskowsky (206) ranks ninth all-time in school history with 206 career 3-pointers. She needs eight more triples to tie Lindsey Wilson for eighth all-time (214).
- Freshman Bridget Carleton ranks 13th in the Big 12 and first among freshmen in points per game (12.3). Carleton also ranks 10th in the Big 12 and is second among freshmen with 7.0 boards per game. Carleton's 23 points vs. TCU is the highest in Big 12 play by a freshman. Her 19 rebounds vs. TCU is also tied for the most rebounds by any Big 12 player this season, along with being fourth in school history.
- Carleton has been named Big 12 Freshman of the Week five times, which ties Johnson and Megan Taylor for the most in school history.
- The 2015-16 season marks the 21st in the tenure of Bill Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 446-218 record at Iowa State and a 612-271 record in his 27-year career as a head coach. His 612 career wins lists him in the top-20 in the NCAA among active coaches.
