TRINITY, Texas – The Iowa State men's golf team is in ninth place after two rounds at the 2016 Big 12 Championship held At Whispering Pines Golf Club. The Cyclones finished the day with a 36-hole total of 617 (305-312).
No. 1 Texas is in first place with a seven-stroke lead over Oklahoma State heading into the third round tomorrow.
Junior Nick Voke leads the way for the Cyclones. Voke is tied for seventh after shooting rounds of 74 and 73 (147). Voke carded seven birdies today.
Freshman Jon Hudson is currently in the top-25 in his first Big 12 Championship after scoring a pair of 77s for a total of 154.
