Cheerleaders To Host Spirit Day Cheer Clinic

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State Cheerleaders will play host to the sixth annual Cyclone Basketball Spirit Day Cheer Clinic, Saturday, Feb. 17^th at the Sukup Basketball Complex. The clinic is from 11-1 p.m.

This clinic is offered to children ages 5-12 years old. Participants will learn cheers, jumps, and a dance to be performed at halftime of the women's basketball game vs. Texas Tech at 3:00 p.m.

With registration, each participant will receive authentic Varsity brand poms, a box meal from Subway, a ticket to the Iowa State vs. Texas Tech women's basketball game and the chance to perform at halftime.

The cost for registration is $40 and is limited to the first 200 participants. The deadline for registration is Friday, February 16th by 4:00 p.m. Online registration can be found here, or on the Spirit Squad webpage.
