Department Awards Letter Jackets At Ceremony

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Letterwinners Club honored fall sport student-athletes who eared letters in their respective sports Monday evening.
The new letterwinners were awarded an "I" and accompanying Cardinal and Gold letter jacket at a ceremony in the Sukup End Zone Club.
"Being a kid and growing up around the Iowa State athletic program, and having my Dad coach here, it means the world to me," All-Big 12 tight end Chase Allen said about earning his letter jacket. "I have uncles and other family members who have a letter jacket as well, and I am happy to join their legacy."
Student-athletes and managers in football, soccer, volleyball and track & field were presented their jackets by Letterwinners Club vice president Judge Johnston and their respective coaches.
