





AMES, Iowa - The 23rd-ranked Iowa State women's basketball team (15-5, 5-3 Big 12) returns to Hilton Coliseum to take on Texas Tech (10-9, 1-7 Big 12) on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. Iowa State leads the all-time series 20-14 against the Lady Raiders. The Cyclones are 13-1 against in Hilton Coliseum and have won the last four-straight vs. Texas Tech. Iowa State is looking for their 13th home win of the season.
As a reminder, Hilton Coliseum has instituted a Clear Bag Policy for athletic events. The policy will enhance security while improving efficiency at the entry gates.

- Kristin Scott has been making waves in her sophomore campaign. She currently leads the Big 12 in field goal percentage (68.7) and 3-point percentage (60.7) in league games. She is also averaging 15.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in conference play, both ranking in the top-10 in the Big 12.
- Bridget Carleton (1,787) is currently in sixth in school history in scoring, she is two points behind Tonya Burns in fifth (1,789). She also passed all-time great Angie Welle (16.3) in career scoring average, averaging 16.4 points and counting in her career.
- Carleton's 405 points on the season ranks ninth in the nation and her 20.3 points per game checks in at 19th. She also ranks 16th in free throws made, with 99 on the year. Her 20.3 points and 23.6 points per game in Big 12 action ranks first in the league.
- Scott and freshman Ashley Joens captured Big 12 weekly honors after spectacular performances in conference action. Scott set a school record, going 11-of-11 from the floor, netting career-high 31 points, while Joens netted 17 points at Oklahoma State.
- Iowa State has shined offensively this season, ranking 18th nationally in scoring margin, topping opponents by 17.6 points per game. ISU opened Big 12 play by dominating both Kansas State and TCU by 38 points each for the largest scoring margin in the history of each series.
