-Iowa State (7-5, 5-4 Big 12) will battle No. 14 Notre Dame (10-2) in the Camping World Bowl, Dec. 28 in Orlando, Fla. ISU, 4-10 all-time in bowl games, is making its third-straight bowl appearance for just the second time in history (2000-02).Â
-Iowa State finished above .500 in conference play (5-4) for the third consecutive season and for only the fourth time in the Big 12 era (2000, 2017, 2018, 2019). ISU tied for third in the Big 12 Conference, marking just the fifth time ISU placed third or better in conference play in the last 60 years (1959, 1977, 1978, 2018, 2019).

-Sophomore QB Brock Purdy is having the most prolific season by an Iowa State signal-caller, breaking or tying 18 school records (game, season, career) in his career. Purdy has already set season school records in passing yardage (3,760), passing TDs (27), completions (295), total offense (4,025) and 300-yard passing games (6).
-Purdy's incredible season places him in elite company, ranking fifth in the nation in passing yardage (313.3), fifth in total offense (335.4) and fourth in completions (295, 24.6). He was named Second-Team All-Big 12.Â
-Purdy is one of three players nationally with at least 27 passing TDs and eight rushing TDs (Justin Fields, Jalen Hurts) and ranks fourth nationally with nine 300-yard games of total offense.Â
-First-Team All-Big 12 Â TE Charlie Kolar was named Second-Team All-American by PFF and First-Team Academic All-American. Among FBS tight ends, Kolar is fifth nationally in receiving yards (56.3), sixth in receptions (48) and fourth in TD catches (7). Kolar broke ISU's season mark for receiving yards by a tight end (675).
-Freshman All-American RB Breece Hall is averaging 108.3 yards, 5.0 ypc with nine rushing TDs in the last seven games. His nine rushing touchdowns is a school record for a Cyclone rookie.Â
-Junior DB Greg Eisworth leads the Cyclones in passes defended (11) and has 60 tackles. He was named to the All-Big 12 First Team for the second-straight season, becoming one of only four Cyclones in school history to be a Big 12 (1996-present) first-teamer twice.Â
