WORTH NOTING
1. Iowa State is currently in the middle of a three-game stretch against teams that defeated them in their first meeting...the Cyclones won the first of these games Saturday against Kansas State.
2. An Iowa State win would give ISU 20 wins for the seventh time in the last eight seasons and would make this Cyclone team the fourth-fastest to reach 20 wins in school history.
3. Steve Prohm is looking to become the seventh ISU head coach to reach 80 wins at the school...it would also give him 20 wins in seven of his first eight seasons as a head coach.
4. Prohm has coached the Cyclones to 14 wins against the AP Top-25 in his first four seasons, trailing only Johnny Orr (24) and Fred Hoiberg (23)...as a team, ISU has the fourth-most wins (32) against the top-25 since 2013-14.
5. Lindell Wigginton is leading the Cyclones in scoring the last six games...he is averaging 17.0 points and shooting 52.7 percent from the field and 51.6 percent behind the arc during that stretch.
LAST TIME OUT: CYCLONES EARN HUGE ROAD WIN AT KANSAS STATE
• Iowa State was led by Wigginton (23) and Horton-Tucker (20) as it rolled to an impressive 78-64 win at Kansas State Saturday afternoon...the Cyclones' 78 points were the second-most allowed this season by a stingy K-State defense...ISU shot 52.7 percent from the field, one of three teams to top 50 percent against the Wildcats in 2018-19.
• Wigginton (7-9 FG, 5-6 3FG) and Horton-Tucker (7-11 FG, 6-9 3FG) combined to shoot14-of-20 from the field and 11-for-15 behind the arc...as a team, ISU connected on 14-of-24 threes.
• Shayok posted his second double-double as a Cyclone, finishing with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
• ISU assisted on 19 of 29 field goals and outrebounded the Wildcats, 34-27...the Cyclones led for nearly 35 minutes in the game.

IOWA STATE-BAYLOR SERIES NOTES
• Iowa State and Baylor are meeting for the 37th time...ISU holds a 19-17 lead in the all-time series, including 14-2 at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones have won the last two games in Ames.
• Baylor is one of four Big 12 teams that ISU owns a series lead against (TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia).
• In the season's first meeting in Waco, Baylor used a late first-half run to take a 38-30 lead into the break...the Bears scored on nine of their last 10 possessions in the opening half...ISU held a 66-64 lead but the Bears rallied to win 73-70.
• Cameron Lard suffered a right ankle injury in the first half and Baylor went on a 24-9 run immediately after the injury...Shayok led the Cyclones with 19 points, while Wigginton and Jacobson added 11 each...Makai Mason scored 25 points for Baylor.
• ISU head coach Steve Prohm is 2-5 against Scott Drew and Baylor.
• ISU is 381-572 against teams currently in the Big 12 Conference.
