Iowa State Signs Third Member Of 2019-20 Class

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State has made another addition to its 2019-20 recruiting class. Yun-Chen "Christin" Hsieh will join the Cyclone tennis team from Taipei, Taiwan.
"Christin is a world-class ball striker and will make an immediate impact on our lineup," head coach Boomer Saia said. "She has tremendous potential and we are excited that she chose Iowa State to continue to develop her tennis."
Hsieh's career-high Universal Tennis Rating reached 10.78 and she was ranked 456 in the world according to ITF's junior rankings.
"I picked Iowa State because of the coaches and the players," Hsieh said. "The coaches are very nice and do a great job of teaching and developing their players."
Hsieh will enroll in school this fall and is currently undecided on a major. She joins Ting-Pei Chang and Oumaima Aziz as the third member of the 2019-20 recruiting class.
