No. 10 Iowa State (8-3, 8-1 Big 12) will compete in its first New Year's Six Bowl in school history, facing No. 25 Oregon (4-2, 3-2 Pac-12) in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl. ISU finished alone in first place in the final Big 12 regular-season standings for the first time in program history. ISU's eight league wins is a school record and the school mark for overall victories in a season is nine (1906, 2000). ISU will play six opponents in the final CFP poll, the most nationally.
