NEW ORLEANS, La. – The USTFCCCA announced on Thursday its Individual and Team All-Academic honorees for the 2020-21 cross country season. The Cyclones earned the Team All-Academic award, while Brenna Cohoon, Grace Dickel, Dana Feyen, Madelynn Hill, Cailie Logue and Janette Schraft were all honored as Individual All-Academic honorees.
Team All-Academic
The Iowa State women's cross country team boasts a 3.68 team cumulative GPA, earning them Team All-Academic accolades. To be eligible for this award, a team must hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale through the most recent grading period.
Individual All-Academic
Iowa State had two runners who held 4.0 GPAs in Cohoon and Feyen. It is the duos first USTFCCCA All-Academic award.
Logue is now a four-time USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree. The three-time Big 12 Champ is also a three-time Academic All-Big 12 member and was named the Big 12 Cross Country Women's Scholar-Athlete of the year in 2019.
Dickel, Hill and Schraft are making their first appearance on the USTFCCCA Individual All-Academic honor roll. The trio of Cyclone sophomores also earned Academic All-Big 12 recognition for the first time in their careers this fall.
Individual All-Academic awards are given to those runners who competed at the NCAA Championships or finished in the top five among all individuals at his or her respective conference championship, while also carrying a 3.25 GPA or higher.
