Cyclone Duo Falls In Round Of 16

CARY, N.C. – The Iowa State duo of Miska Kadleckova and Ange Oby Kajuru fell Thursday in the round of 16 to the NC State pairing of Nell Miller and Amelia Rajecki in three sets at the ITA All-American Championships.

The Cyclone pair took the opening set, 6-4, but the Wolfpack duo bounced back with a 6-2 win in the second set to send it to a third-set tiebreak. In the third set, NC State went up 7-4, but the Cyclones rallied to tie it at 7-7. That was all the closer ISU would get as NC State went on to win 10-8, ending the Cyclones' run.

The Cyclone tennis team returns to action tomorrow at the Northwestern Invitational with Sofia Cabezas, Chie Kezuka and Anna Supapitch Kuearum in action.
