Iowa State Concludes Day One Of The Gopher Invitational

INDEPENDENCE, Minn. - Iowa State finishes day one of the Gopher Invitational tied for 11th with a team score of 574.
The Iowa State men's golf team carded the lowest 18-hole round of the day with a 276.Â
Paul Beauvy and Zach May lead the Cyclones tied for 25th with a 143. Beauvy and May finished the day with six birdies each.Â
Zach May also carded a career low 18 with a 67.Â
Luke Gutschewski led the team with seven birdies, tying for 39th.
Owen Sawyer tied for 67th with two birdies and an eagle recorded on the 18th hole of round two. Dianchao Wu completed the day with three birdies and a score of 153.
Lukas Pany and Nippit Klinsrisuk played as individuals. Pany tied for ninth with a three-round 212. Klinsrisuk tied for 59th with a 227.
The final round of the Gopher Invitational will begin Monday, Sept. 11.
