Saturday, Sept. 23 Weather Note

Dear Cyclone Fans:

With the possibility of severe weather in the forecast for Saturday's 3 p.m. Big 12 opener between the Cyclones and Cowboys at Jack Trice Stadium, we encourage you keep the following safety precautions in mind:

You will be informed by videoboard and public address announcements inside the stadium if it becomes necessary to suspend the game due to weather. We ask for your cooperation in leaving the seating bowl if requested by stadium personnel.

If it is necessary to evacuate the seating area and/or the stadium, please stay calm and event personnel will direct you to the nearest safe exit. If you take cover under the overhangs of the upper deck, please be considerate of others by congregating in the outer areas first so you do not block other fans from leaving the seating bowl. We also ask for everyone's cooperation in not gathering in the stairwells until everyone has safely exited the seating bowl.

Please note fans are not allowed to exit on to the playing surface unless law enforcement personnel make that decision. If that decision is made, fans will be directed to exit the stadium through the stadium's north ramps.
