AMES, Iowa - Addy Brown has been named the Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week after helping Iowa State women's basketball to a 3-0 start to the season.
Brown led Iowa State in points (53), rebounds (29) and blocks (4) while averaging just 25 minutes per game in wins over Chicago State, Indiana State and Southern.
The sophomore posted two double-doubles on the week against Indiana State (12 pts/10 reb) and Southern (21 pts/10 reb). She had a pair of 20-point outings, finishing with 20 points against Chicago State in the season opener and 21 points against Southern.
The Derby, Kan. native averaged 17.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game across the week.
Brown is tied with four other Cyclones for the 11th most double-doubles (12) in program history through her 35th collegiate game.
The Cyclones are back in action Thursday, Nov. 14 against St. Thomas. Tip-off from Hilton Coliseum is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
