Andrew Kautman Promoted To Assistant Athletics Director

AMES, Iowa – Andrew Kautman, a member of the Iowa State Athletics staff for more than 20 years, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director within the Cyclones' Business Office, the department announced today. He currently serves as the department's Director of Accounting.
"Andrew has done an excellent job with his business management responsibilities," said ISU Senior Associate Athletics Director for Finance & Operations Chris Jorgensen. "He oversees all of the department's financial reporting mechanisms and is integral to the reports we deliver to the Athletics' Director, University administration, ISU Foundation, Board of Regents, Big 12 Conference and NCAA.
"He provides credibility to this process through his much-needed attention to detail," he added. "He has been instrumental in guiding the department through several different transitions in accounting and business policies during his tenure."
Kautman has participated in the business unit of a department that has seen annual revenues and expenses increase from around $20 million per year to more than $100 million per year during his tenure.
