Montgomery showed his workhorse ability by taking five carries in the Lions eight-play, game-winning drive in overtime; averaging an impressive 11 yards-per-carry on his four non-touchdown runs in the period.

Allen Lazard reached the endzone twice on the Jets' opening night loss to the 49ers. Lazard tallied six receptions for 89 yards and two touchdowns in what was one of the best games of his NFL career.
Lazard was the only New York WR to reach the endzone on Monday night, doing it twice. He also tied for the most receptions on the team in the game on nine targets.
