AMES, Iowa – Iowa State tennis player Ashlee Narker is the Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week after posting a 6-0 overall record at the K-State Invitational over the weekend.
The sophomore from Saint Ives, Australia went 3-0 in both singles and doubles matches to kick off the fall season, which played a big part in the team's total record of 20-6 in the tournament.
Playing at the No. 1 spot, Narker went up against other top players from Wichita State, Kansas State and South Florida, coming out on top in every match.
Narker and the Cyclones will look to build off their impressive weekend in the Jon Messick Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo. this upcoming weekend.
