Eight Earn CSC Academic All-District

AMES, Iowa – Eight Iowa State football student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.
All-District honorees hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater and have competed in 90 percent of games or have started 66 percent of games. Each institution is limited to eight student-athletes on the CSC All-District team.
Cyclones named to the team included Chet Andrews, Rocco Becht, Vince Benetti, Kooper Ebel, Beau Freyler, Jace T. Gilbert, Jack Sadowsky V and Tripp Walsh.
Freyler earns the honor for the third time in his career, while Becht earns his second such honor.
Freyler was a First Team Academic All-American in 2023 and was a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy this season.
Becht and Freyler each advance to the ballot for the 2024 Academic All-America team.
