AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team is ranked No. 46 in the latest ITA Tennis Rankings, while No. 1 singles player Anna Supapitch Kuearum sits at No. 81 nationally.
The Cyclones (4-2) are one of 10 Big 12 Conference teams ranked among the nation's Top 75. It is the first national ranking for the Cyclones as a team since the final poll of the 2023 season, when ISU reached the national quarterfinals and finished the season ranked No. 8.
Second-year Cyclone head coach has rebuilt the team after just one player, Kuearum, returned from the 2023 team.
Kuearum owns a 5-1 record in singles play since the calendar flipped to 2025. Included in her victories is a win over then No. 113 Dianne Hayashida of Iowa as the Cyclones beat the Hawkeyes 4-3 in Iowa City.
Iowa State returns to action Sunday when it hosts South Dakota at noon at the Iowa State Tennis Facility.
