Brown Named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State sophomore forward Addy Brown has been named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Week. Brown averaged 25.5 points per game while shooting over 70 percent from the floor against two Top 15 opponents last week.
The Derby, Kansas native posted 20 points at No. 11 Kansas State last Thursday night on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. She also pulled down four rebounds and passed out eight assists. On Sunday, she dropped a career-high 31 points against No. 9 TCU, finishing 11-of-16 from the floor and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. She tallied a team-high six rebounds to go along with five assists against the Horned Frogs as well.
Brown and the Cyclones (15-9, 6-5 Big 12) travel to Cincinnati (13-7, 5-5 Big 12) on Wednesday to take on the Bearcats. The game is set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on ESPN+.
