Former Cyclones continue to perform as we approach the All-Star Break.
Tyrese Haliburton - #0, Indiana Pacers (24-19)
Haliburton and the Pacers continue to see success as they went 2-1 on the week. Haliburton's output was relatively tame on the week, highlighted by a 17 point, four rebound, and nine assist performance in a win against the Hawks (17-4-9).
Haliburton also dropped 18-3-6 in a win in Utah. In the only loss of the week, Haliburton had just his second 0-point output of the campaign thus far, adding just two rebounds and six assists.
Haliburton's Week: 11.7 PPG, 7 APG, 3 RPG
Next Week: @ LAC (2/6), @ LAL (2/8), vs. NYK (2/11), @ WAS (2/12)
Georges Niang - Atlanta Hawks (23-28)
Niang and the Cavaliers continue to prove why they hold the top seed in the East, winning three out of four last week. Georges had a solid week, his best performance coming in the clobbering of the Luka-less Mavericks on Sunday, dropping 13-2-1.
Georges has now eclipsed the 40% mark from 3-point range, solidifying himself as an elite deep range bench threat for a contender.
Niang's other performances on the week included a 10-point and three rebound output in a win against Atlanta, six points and two rebounds in a loss to Boston, and 7-5-1 to cap off the week in a win against Detroit. Â Â
Following a four-game week for Niang, he was dealt on the trade deadline to the Atlanta Hawks. He has not selected a number as of yet.
Niang's Week: Â 9 PPG, 3 RPG, 0.5 APG
Next Week: vs. MIL (2/7), @ WAS (2/8), @ ORL (2/10), @ NYK (2/12)
Talen Horton-Tucker - #22, Chicago Bulls (19-25)
As the Bulls make roster changes before the end of the trade deadline, Horton-Tucker has seen his minutes hit the wayside as he did not make an appearance in any of the four team games this week. He looks for his role to become more steady post-deadline.
Next Week: vs. GSW (2/8), vs. DET (2/11), vs. DET (2/12)
Monté Morris - #23, Phoenix Suns (12-8)
Monté had a quiet week, playing just 10 minutes combined between two games, scoring three points and adding an assist in a loss against Portland Saturday, and did not record a stat in the win against Golden State. Morris similarly to Talen, looks for a more solidified role after the All-Star Break.
Next Week: vs. UTA (2/7), vs. DEN (2/8), vs. MEM (2/11), @ HOU (2/12)
