AMES, Iowa – Iowa State offensive tackle Jalen Travis has been selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round with pick No. 127 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Travis, a Minneapolis, Minnesota, native, is the first Iowa State offensive lineman drafted since 2013 (Carter Bykowski) and is the highest Cyclone o-lineman drafted since Kelechi Osemele in 2012.
Travis played one season for the Cyclones after transferring from the Ivy League's Princeton following his graduation. He made a significant impact in his time at ISU, helping the Cyclones to their best season in program history with an 11-3 finish, the first double-digit win season the program has ever posted.
Travis earned All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades, playing in the final 12 games of the season after missing the first two due to injury. He was an anchor on the offensive line that helped ISU rush for 27 touchdowns, tied for the fourth-most in program history.
The Cyclones also broke the school record for points scored (435) and the o-line allowed just 16 sacks, ranking among the nation's Top 25.
Individually, Travis allowed just one sack in 475 pass snaps in 2024 per Pro Football Focus.
Travis started his collegiate career at Princeton, where he earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors in 2022 and 2023. He earned the Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup in 2024.
He was a participant at the Reese's Senior Bowl.
