Clausen on Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List

AMES, Iowa -Â Iowa State long snapper Drew Clausen has been named to the 2025 Patrick Mannelly Award watch list, given annually to the nation's best long snapper.
Clausen is one of three Big 12 long snappers featured on the watch list.
Clausen, a redshirt senior, enters his second season at Iowa State after playing in all 14 games in 2024. After winning the starting long snapper job in fall camp, he served as ISU's long and short snapper in the final 12 games of the season.
The Grimes, Iowa native joined the Cyclones after three seasons at UNI, including the 2023 season where he appeared in all 11 games for the Panthers.
Iowa State opens the 2025 season August 23 in Dublin, Ireland against Kansas State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Season tickets are on sale, here.
